www.ConceptArt.org – professional concept painting gallery and forum
www.GoodBrush.com – The matte paintings and photoshop sketches of Craig Mullens. If youdon’t know, matte paintings are the huge backgrounds in all your favorite movies that you had no idea were painted. Any movie from Forrest Gump to Final Fantasy The Spirit within to the Matrix has huge backgrounds that look like part of the set but are in fact just huge digital paintings. This guy is one of the best. He also shows a lot of paint sketches which will help give you an idea of how he works and how he got so good.
www.DeviantArt.com – Great resource site. Galleries, downloads, tutorials, photography, and anything your peers would want to share can be found there. You can also create your own account and begin sharing your own artwork.
